GRIDBASH Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Gridbash collects, how that information is used, and the choices you have. Gridbash is published by SkibbySoft Games (the "Developer") on Reddit's Devvit platform.

1. Information We Collect

Gridbash stores only the minimum information needed to run the game:

• Reddit user ID and username — provided to us by Reddit when you launch the game, so we can identify you within a lobby and on the leaderboard.
• Selected character skin — which cosmetic you have equipped.
• Owned skins — the list of cosmetic items you have purchased with Reddit Gold.
• Game statistics — stars earned, win counts, and similar aggregate stats for the leaderboard.
• Lobby membership and ready state — temporary data while you are in a lobby or match.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

• Your email address
• Your real name, phone number, or postal address
• Your IP address or device information
• Any payment information (credit card, bank, etc.)
• Browsing history or activity outside of Gridbash
• Location data

Reddit handles authentication and payments directly — we never see your credentials or payment details.

3. How We Use Information

The information we collect is used only to run the game. Specifically:

• Matching you with other players in lobbies
• Displaying your username and stars on the leaderboard
• Persisting your owned and selected skins across sessions
• Granting purchases made through Reddit Gold
• Preventing cheating and abuse within the game

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose beyond running the game.

4. Storage & Security

Game data is stored in Reddit's managed Redis database, scoped to the subreddit where Gridbash is installed. The Developer does not operate external servers and does not transmit your data to any third party.

Reddit is responsible for the underlying security of the platform and the data storage infrastructure. See Reddit's Privacy Policy for details on how Reddit handles data.

5. Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with any third party.

Gridbash runs inside Reddit and depends on Reddit's platform services. Your use of Reddit is governed by Reddit's User Agreement and Reddit's Privacy Policy, which apply in addition to this policy.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Your game data is retained while Gridbash is installed on a subreddit where you have played, so that features like the leaderboard and owned skins continue to work.

If you would like your Gridbash data removed, contact the Developer using the information below and we will delete it within a reasonable time. Note that deleting your Reddit account will also disassociate you from all game data, since we identify players by their Reddit user ID.

7. Children

Gridbash is not directed at children under 13. The game is available only to users who meet Reddit's own age requirements. If we learn that a child under the applicable age has been using Gridbash, we will delete their data upon request.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Withdraw consent to our processing

To exercise any of these rights, contact the Developer using the information below. We will respond within a reasonable time.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the game or on the project repository before taking effect. Your continued use of Gridbash after a change indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
